§ Mr. Wakehamasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is satisfied with the family practitioner services available in the Rochford area; and, if not, what steps he is taking to improve them.
§ Mr. MoyleI understand that since the resignation of a doctor practising in Rochford his successor, who was already practising in Canewdon, has been having difficulty in obtaining entirely satisfactory practice premises and is temporarily using accommodation about a mile from the former premises. The Essex Family Practitioner Committee, which is responsible for the administration of family practitioner services in the area, is trying to help the doctor to make satisfactory permanent arrangements.
