Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales if it is the policy of his Department that the Welsh Pricing Committee established in 1973 as an independent committee of the Welsh Health Technical Services Organisation should have its functions subsumed by WHTSO or should remain an independent committee.
§ Mr. Barry JonesThe Welsh Pricing Committee is a Committee of the Welsh Health Technical Services Organisation appointed under the terms of Article 13 of the Welsh Health Technical Services Organisation (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1973 (S.I. 1973 No. 1624) to exercise on behalf of the 1101W Organisation its functions relating to the checking and pricing of prescriptions for drugs, medicines and appliances supplies by pharmaceutical services. I have no proposals for change.
