§ Mr. Roderickasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he proposes to introduce the changes in regional employment premium announced on 22nd July; and what rate of premium is to be introduced for juveniles and part-time workers.
§ Mr. Joel BarnettThe new rates will apply to employees in employment on and from Monday 3rd January 1977. The juvenile rate will be £1.20 per week. The rate for part-time workers will be half the equivalent full-time rate.
