§ Mr. DuffyFigures of expenditure on Armed Services recruiting in the financial years 1960–61 and 1965–66 are not available. In 1970–71 and 1975–76 expenditure amounted to approximately £12.9 million and £24.2 million, respectively. The figure for 1970–71 does not, however, include an element covering rentals of careers information offices. In 1973–74, the earliest year for which this information is available, the sum involved was £341,476.
