asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many appeals have been made in each of the past five years by physically disabled persons for rate relief on dwelling-houses which they have constructed or adapted at their own expense.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland, under the special scheme to supplement local authority lending in Scotland in 1975–76, how many applicants were referred by councils to nominated building societies; which councils referred applicants; how many advances were offered by building societies; and how many, respectively, have been declined by the applicant or refused by the societies.
