HC Deb 06 August 1976 vol 916 cc1168-9W
Mr. Watkinson

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what buildings were viewed by his staff in the Cinderford area as a possible site for a Department of Social Services office in the Forest of Dean; (2) what were the prices of the buildings viewed by his staff in the Cinderford area as possible sites for Department of Social Services offices in the Forest of Dean.

Mr. Armstrong

I have been asked to reply.

The PSA has not been asked by the DHSS to look for a site in the Forest of Dean area. A number of possible sites were viewed by PSA in Cinderford following a suggestion by my hon. Friend that a suitable building might be found there. No prices were quoted, but, in any case, for commercial reasons, it is not the practice to disclose the rent of individual properties.
