§ Mr. John Roperasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will consider the integration of the chaplaincy departments of the three Services; if he will refer this matter to the Management Review; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. DuffyConsideration was given to the integration of the chaplaincy departments of the three Services in December 1975. It was agreed that each Service requires its own chaplaincy to suit its particular role and the needs of its personnel. It is not intended to refer the matter to the Management Review, which is concerned largely with the organisation and structure of the MOD itself.
