§ 20. Mr. Jayasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what are the present stocks of butter and beef, respectively, held in the United Kingdom by the Intervention Board and in private storage.
§ Mr. BishopSubject to final verification, about 14,600 tons of beef and 6,400 tons of butter were held in stock by the Intervention Board on 23rd July 1976. On the same date about 2,700 tons of beef and almost 35,000 tons of butter were in store in the United Kingdom under Community-financed private storage arrangements.
