§ Mr. Reidasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what steps he has taken to implement the resolution of the Scottish Health Service Planning Council of 12th May 1975 that a systematic programme of fluoridation should be undertaken in Scotland.
§ Mr. Harry EwingThe memorandum "The Health Service in Scotland—The Way Ahead", which was issued on 13th April and gave general guidance to health146W boards on future priorities, recommended that serious consideration be given to the fluoridation of water supplies. I intend to issue more detailed guidance soon.
