§ Mr. Martenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on the Government's attitude towards the EEC negotiations with the cane sugar producers, with particular reference to Her Majesty's Government's support for the Commonwealth producers.
§ Mr. BishopThe EEC's negotiations with the cane sugar producers are being conducted by the EEC Commission on behalf of member States in accordance with an agreed negotiating mandate. I cannot comment on the possible outcome of these negotiations.
