§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that, on 22nd March 1976, 2,589 people were receiving training under Government schemes in the Yorkshire and Humberside Region. The comparable figures for 1971 and 1966 were 616 and 424 respectively.
§ Mr. Pardoeasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will estimate how many people will be trained under the auspices of the Training Services Agency this year; and how many will be similarly trained next year.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that it is proposed to train 80,000 people 443W under the Training Opportunities Scheme in 1976, and 82,000 in 1977.
