§ Dr. SummerskillAll members are part-time and none receives any fee or salary in respect of their membership. Travelling and subsistance allowances are payable, and members who are not probation officers or prison governors may be paid financial loss allowances of up to £4 a day for a period of not more than four hours and £8 for a longer period.
