asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will consider reinstating the general medical and the general surgical beds at Bruntsfield Hospital for women and children, in accordance with the objects of the hospital, in terms of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1947, Section 6(4); and whether he will make a statement.
