§ Mr. BishopMy right hon. Friend obtained Community agreement last year to the need for a re-appraisal of the common fisheries policy. The Commission has since produced outline proposals, and these have been laid before the House. We would expect that, following discussion of them by the Council, the Commission will in due course make formal proposals for decision by the Council in the normal way.
