§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Minister of Overseas Development whether it is the intention of Her Majesty's Government to support at UNCTAD IV the proposal for a general conference on the debt problems of developing countries.
§ Mr. PrenticeThe British Government, in common with the majority of other creditors, believe that debt problems are best handled on a case-by-case basis, and that the convening of a general conference on debt problems would not be in the best interests of either debtor or creditor countries.
