§ Mr. Joel BarnettRegional employment premium is paid to nationalised industries in respect of their manufacturing and related activities in the development areas. In 1974–75 the National Coal Board received approximately £636,500 covering employment in its Cowdenbeath workshops, Tredomen Engineering Limited and establishments in the development areas of the two operating subsidiaries of NCB (Coal Products) Limited.
