HC Deb 28 October 1975 vol 898 c398W
Q22. Mr. Madden

asked the Prime Minister if he is satisfied with the security arrangements for Cabinet Ministers' homes, so far as electronic eavesdropping is concerned.

The Prime Minister

Protective security measures need to reflect balance between the threat to classified information, the cost and effectiveness of security, and the minimum interference with normal life. The achievement of this balance is not a simple matter, but I am satisfied with the present arrangements.
