§ Mr. EadieTotal moneys received by the board up to 30th September 1975 are as follows:
£ million Loans at favourable rates of interest for plant, machinery and colliery modernisation 77.874 Low interest loans for improvements to miners' houses 1.636 Grants for research 2.168 Grants to assist redeployment and training of redundant mine-workers 2.0 Further loans and grants have been approved but the board has not yet received them.
In addition £2.25 million has been received by the Government towards the costs of the Redundant Mineworkers Payments Scheme.
