§ Mr. Thorneasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to make a statement on the inspector's report of the public inquiry into plans of the Central Lancashire New Town Development Corporation.
§ Mr. OakesThe inspector's report took six months to complete. In view of the detailed consideration which must be given to this report, and the complexity of the outline plan proposals, it is unlikely that my right hon. Friend will be in a position to make a statement before the early spring of next year.
