§ Mr. EadieThe report on wave-generated energy prepared for my Department by the National Engineering Laboratory at East Kilbride was received in March of this year. It was presented to the Advisory Council on Research and Development (ACORD) in June together with a parallel paper by the Central Electricity Generating Board. Discussion by ACORD led to the setting up of a steering committee to direct a national programme to investigate wave energy possibilities. Copies of the reports have already been made available to a number of organisations which have an active interest in the subject. The question of general publication is under consideration by the committee.
