§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe committee has held five meetings, all but one of them under the chairmanship of Mr. W. N. Hyde of the Home Office. Mr. Gordon-Brown was transferred to the Cabinet Office before the committee began its work. I am not aware that it was ever known as the "Gordon-Brown Committee".
