§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of tSate for Scotland how much money has been made available for nursery 217W education in Scotland for 1976–77; and how many places this will provide.
§ Mr. William RossEducation authorities have been authorised to start nursery education building work to the value of £6.9 million at 1974 survey prices in the period of 12 months to 30th September 1976, and I estimate that this programme could provide up to 9,000 places. The level of investment after that date is under review.
