§ Miss Joan LestorThe percentage of full-time teachers in maintained schools at 31st March 1973 who held a degree was as follows:

Thirty-seven per cent. of all teachers in maintained secondary schools in the survey had a degree and 3 per cent. had qualifications equivalent to a degree.
