asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what proportion of expenditure on Her Majesty's Diplomatic Service represents a foreign exchange cost.

Mr. Rowlands

The proportion of expenditure on the Diplomatic and Consular Service Vote which represents a foreign exchange cost was 54 per cent. in 1973–74 and 51 per cent. in 1974–75.
