asked the Secretary of State for Energy what is the timetable of the EEC countries in the nuclear establishing action plan.

Mr. Benn

The timetable was proposed in the European Commission's February 1974 document entitled "The implication of the guidelines and priority measures for a Community Energy Policy." This has since become better known as "the nuclear plan of action". A revised timetable, reference R/446/74 corrigendum 2, was put to the Council in November 1974 and copies of it and of the plan of action are in the Library.
