Mr. Gordon Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) how many vacancies for skilled and unskilled building workers have been notified in his Department in the Tayside Region; what is the total number of such workers in the region; and how many in each locality are resident or registered in Dundee;

(2) how many skilled and unskilled building workers there were unemployed in Tayside and in Dundee at the last most convenient date; and, of skilled workers, what was the relative breakdown according to trades.
