§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, in view of the two fatal accidents which occurred within seven days on Millfields Way, Haverhill, he will consult the Suffolk County Council and the St. Edmunds-bury District Council with a view to improving safety measures in the vicinity of Chalkstone School.
§ Mr. CarmichaelMillfields Way, Haverhill, is an unclassified road for which the Suffolk County Council is the highway authority. I understand that the council is considering whether measures are necessary to improve road safety conditions there.
