§ Mr. PeartSo far as can be distinguished, EEC expenditure from FEOGA on processing food fit for human consumption into animal food or industrial material was £197.1 million* in 1973 and the provisional figure for 1974 is £207.8 million*; the United Kingdom share of this expenditure was £19.1 million in 1973 and £8.7 million in 1974. No figures are available to indicate that the FEOGA finances any expenditure on processing food fit for animals into industrial material.
