§ Mr. Foxasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now correct the figure of 2 per cent. given by him in the Official Report, column 752, 13th February 1975, as the percentage of bricks used in the construction of inner leaves in cavity walls.
§ Mr. KaufmanNo such correction is required. While about 10 per cent. of the inner leaves of cavity walls have, in recent years, been made of brick, this is likely, as I said on 13th February, to represent only about 2 per cent. of total brick production.
