asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will take steps to encourage the sales of British-made consumer goods in export markets.

Mr. Deakins

The British Overseas Trade Board, of which my right hon. Friend is the President, offers a wide range of services to encourage and assist British exporters of consumer goods. These services are well known to industry and are widely and successfully used.
