§ Mr. Shore:The Commission is examining in conjunction with member States all aid to the film industry, and is considering whether there is scope for co-ordination between the aid systems in member States. No decision has been made. The status of assistance to the British film industry under the Treaty of Rome has not been challenged by the Commission, although it is open to it to propose changes in aids which it finds are not compatible with the Common Market.
