asked the Prime Minister whether the public speech of the Secretary of State for Industry at the Central Baptist Church, Bloomsbury, about the presentation of Government policies, on Tuesday 4th March represented the policy of Her Majesty's Government.

The Prime Minister:

My right hon. Friend's remarks were made on an informal occasion, but in so far as he has been reported on matters for which he has departmental responsibility, the answer is "Yes".
