HC Deb 18 March 1975 vol 888 c407W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make an up-to-date statement giving figures from the most recent estimates on the cost of soundproofing Dumfermline College of Physical Education in Cramond as a safeguard against aircraft noise.

Mr. William Ross:

I have no recent estimate. The extent to which the college may require sound insulation will not be finally determined until experience has been gained of noise disturbance from aircraft using the new runway.
