Mr. Russell Johnston

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many Scottish officials are seconded either to the permanent United Kingdom Representative in Brussels or to the Commission of the European Community.

Mr. William Ross:

Four officials from my Department are at present serving in Brussels, one with the Permanent United Kingdom Representative and three with the Commission.
