§ Mr. Michael Lathamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why he has issued no formal guidance to local authorities regarding buildings containing high alumina cement since July 1974: and when he next intends to do so.
§ Mr. Freeson:I have, in fact, done so in a circular letter sent to local authorities on 2nd January 1975. I hope to issue further advice before the end of April, following the results of the survey being carried out by the Building Research Establishment.
