Mr. Dodsworth

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will publish in the Official Report a list of new loans advanced by the Public Works Loan Board since 1972 ;

(2) if he will publish in the Official Report a list of receipts of loans repaid by local authorities to the Public Works Loan Board since 1972.

These two Questions could be answered only at the cost of disproportionate time and effort. I can, however, provide the following summary of
