asked the Secretary of State for Trade what was the value of timber imports into (1) Scotland and (2) of the United Kingdom as a whole in each of the last five years.

Details of timber imports into the United Kingdom as a whole are published under SITC(R) 242 and 243 in Table II of volume I of the Annual Statement of Overseas Trade of the United Kingdom for the years 1970 to 1972 and in Table III of the December issue of the Overseas Trade Statistics for 1973 and 1974. Imports into Scotland are not separately distinguished.
