HC Deb 30 June 1975 vol 894 cc317-8W
Mr. Crawford

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what representations he has received concerning the need to increase the family income supplement.

Mr. O'Malley

I have been asked to reply.

The hon. Member will be aware that the prescribed income levels and maximum payments for family income sup-

cent. of all loans made by the bank to United Kingdom organisations in the period. Information on other receipts from the European Communities to the South East is not separately available. During this period the United Kingdom received approximately £297 million from the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund in respect of market regulation and restructuring under the common agricultural policy. Receipts from the European Social Fund in the same period amounted to approximately £22 million, and approximately £37 million was received as the refund of the cost of collecting "own resources". The European Coal and Steel Community in this period approved grants totalling approximately £20 million and loans totalling approximately £134 million to United Kingdom organisations.
