Yes, three pictures, one by Auguste Renoir entitled "The Two Sisters—Mesdemoiselles Lerolle" one by Alfred Sisley entitled "Quatorze Juillet a Manly" and one by Signac en- titled "La Seine a Argenteuil, 1890" have been accepted. The total cost borne by the National Land Fund after allowing for relief from estate duty and capital gains tax is £111,840.

The Under-Secretary of State for Education and Science with responsibility for the arts, after taking advice from the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries, will in due course announce the destinations of these works of art.
