§ Mr. John SmithEstimates of total oil production in 1980 of 100 million-130 million tons were given to Parliament in the previous Secretary of State's Report on Offshore Oil and Gas Development presented on 14th April 1975. The figures included an allowance for possible 1980 oil production from other discoveries likely to be made in the rest of 1975.
