§ Mr. John SilkinAll structure plans should be submitted by 1st April 1978. County planning authorities have been advised to concentrate on those issues which are of key structural importance to the area concerned and their inter-relationships. It is the intention that the Secretary of State's decision on a structure plan shall be given as soon as possible after submission, though the necessary statutory procedures, including the examination in public of selected matters from the plan, require at least a year to complete.
