§ Mr. Sproatasked the Minister of Overseas Development how many civil servants are employed in his Department on overseas development matters; what is the total cost of running that part of the Department for the latest year for which figures are available; and if he will itemise the main constituent costs.
§ Mr. Prentice2,282 civil servants were employed in the Ministry of Overseas Development, including its overseas divisions and its special units, at 1st April 1975.
