§ Mr. William RodgersWe aim to ensure that Service men and women are alerted to the housing problems they may encounter in civilian life and advised how best to meet them. We also give financial assistance to those who are nearing the end of their service and wish to buy a house. Moreover, the Department of the Environment circular of 9th June 1975 draws the attention of local housing authorities to the special problems of Service men and women returning to civilian life and urges them to allocate 313W council housing on the basis of need alone.
