§ Mr. Aitkenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he has any plans to change the regulations regarding colouring additives which have no food value in order to bring British practices into line with the Common Market regulations.
§ Mr. StrangThe use of colouring matter in food is being considered both by our Food Additives and Contaminants Committee and by the European Economic Community. Regulations will be amended in the light of the results of these considerations and subject to the normal consultation procedures.
