§ Mr. PrenticeThe Department no longer collects statistics of immigrant pupils. In the eight years for which figures are available the numbers of immigrant pupils, according to the definition used by the Department, in primary and secondary schools maintained by the London borough of Newham were as follows, the count being taken in each year on a day in January:
