§ Mr. Clinton DavisI am aware of only one vessel carrying chlorine in bulk to and from British ports. Its capacity is 210 tons and it plies between British ports once and sometimes twice a week. Everything practicable is being done to prevent accidents. In addition, about 4,000 tons of chlorine is carried into and out of our ports annually in cylinders and must be handled in accordance with my Depart34W ments' statutory requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods.
