§ Mr. FreesonLocal authorities were recommended to give special consideration to such needs in DOE Circular 70/74 and the Cullingworth Report of 1969. In addition my Department is urging authorities in London to meet the housing needs of key public service workers and their families in collaboration with the Housing Corporation, which is also investigating a number of additional sites in Greater London owned by public service industries, in particular British Rail, for such housing purposes. I hope that this process will be expedited and expanded.
