§ Mr. DeakinsThe deficit on visible trade is not quite balanced by a surplus on invisibles. The remedy for any imbalance is to increase our exports. We are, therefore, maintaining a vigorous trade drive. The Japanese Government have been helpful, and our exports have been rising faster than to most other markets.
