Mr. Roper

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what was the increase in value in United Kingdom exports to the rest of the EEC, to North America and to EFTA in 1974 as a percentage of their value in 1973;

(2) what was the increase in the value of United Kingdom imports from and of exports to North America in 1974 as a percentage of their value in 1973;

quarters of 1973 and 1974, value of textile piece goods imported increased by 12 per cent. whilst that of made-up garments fell by 6 per cent.
