§ Mr. Alfred MorrisSince the introduction of modern social security arrangements in 1948 war pensions for adult dependent relatives have been regarded as obsolete. It was decided, nevertheless, in 1948 that they should be kept in payment at the rate then current. Since then the rates of these pensions have remained unchanged and I have no proposals for increasing them.
